The Xtudeo startup was founded in 2019 by LinkiaFP, a leading Spanish vocational training provider. It operates as an e-learning platform, delivering video-based, interactive lessons aimed at imparting practical skills rather than traditional academic education in Spanish. Xtudeo is responsible for developing courses, recruiting instructors, and producing the lesson content. Many of the instructors are not professional educators but rather subject matter experts and industry professionals. As of 2021, the course offerings included topics such as Entrepreneurship, Soft Skills, and Online Marketing. Xtudeo has also developed employee training programs for corporate clients.
Role 1: External Consultant.
Initially, I engaged with XTUDEO as an external consultant, playing a pivotal role in reshaping their business model. My contributions encompassed a comprehensive overhaul of their value proposition, refining their customer segmentation, and optimizing their communication channels. I also proposed new learning territories to bridge the 'skills gap' that many companies encounter.
Role 2: E-Learning Designer.
Subsequently, I became an integral part of their team for one year, actively involved in the execution of the consultancy's recommendations. This phase involved retrofitting their e-learning minimum viable product (MVP) into a more engaging 'micro-learning' and 'outcome-based learning' model. Additionally, I worked on forging strategic alliances to expand Xtudeo's outreach and engage a broader audience of learners. This period also included the recruitment of new instructors and close collaboration with them in the development of fresh, innovative courses
